THE S'PARK NEIGHBORHOOD ACHIEVED LEED-ND PLAN CERTIFICATION IN 2019

The Neighborhood Development (LEED ND) requirements help create well-connected neighborhoods and include consideration of walkable streets and access to outdoor spaces. The S’Park project earned points for affordable housing, proximity to jobs, walkable design, project density, and connection to the surrounding neighborhood; including access to transit, open space, nearby shops and restaurants. Each unit in the S’Park Neighborhood meets the strict energy efficiency requirements of the City of Boulder energy code, and contains water efficient lavatory fixtures. The S’Park neighborhood also reduced water use through water efficient landscaping irrigation and drought tolerant plants.
